Alto Metals reported a 6km-long gold and pathfinder element anomaly at Sandstone North, which was identified through recent fine fraction soil sampling, structural interpretation, and a review of high-grade drill results and historical data.

The anomaly correlates with a major north-south trending interpreted shear zone along a regional fold axis, resembling the high-grade Sandstone North prospect.

Mineralisation remains open, representing a similar style to Goldfield's high-grade Waroonga deposit at Agnew.

The upcoming low-cost air-core drilling program in the early 2024 first quarter aims to explore the potential of this under-explored area within the Sandstone Gold Project, covering over 740km2 of the Sandstone Greenstone Belt.
