Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG), the parent company of Google, has issued a statement regarding an unsolicited mini-tender offer from Tutanota.

Tutanota has proposed to acquire up to 400,000 shares of Alphabet's Class A common stock at $180 per share in cash, an offer that constitutes less than 0.01 percent of the outstanding Class A shares as of June 10, 2024.

Alphabet has clarified that it does not endorse this mini-tender offer and has no affiliation with Tutanota or its proposed acquisition.

Furthermore, Alphabet has expressed no opinion on whether shareholders should accept the offer.

The company strongly advises its investors to seek current market quotations for their shares, consult with financial advisors, and exercise caution regarding Tutanota's offer.
