Alma Metals announced further assay results from its recent drilling program at the Briggs Copper Project in Queensland.

The tests confirmed a shallow, higher-grade zone of copper-molybdenum mineralisation. One hole drilled intersected a thick zone of copper-molybdenum solid mineralisation from the surface to 136.3m down-hole depth.

The deeper mineralisation may form part of the halo around the Southern Porphyry target, implying that the Central and Southern Porphyry mineralisation may link at depth.

Samples underwent laboratory tests for basic metals and showed a 32.8m zone grading of 0.78% copper and 72ppm molybdenum.
