Alma Metals confirmed copper-molybdenum mineralisation in its 2023 drilling program at the Briggs Copper Project in Central Queensland.

The results reveal shallow, higher-grade mineralisation along the granodiorite intrusion and volcanic sediments contact zone.

Findings include a drill hole showing a 39.4m interval at 0.20% Cu and 37 ppm Mo from 1.6m depth, featuring a higher-grade section of 10m at 0.37% Cu and 68 ppm Mo.

Further drilling to explore the continuity of this higher-grade contact zone along the entire southwestern margin of the intrusion is scheduled to begin in the early second quarter.
