    Allkem (ASX:AKE) signs agreement with Cree Nation for James Bay Lithium Project

    Allkem Limited signed the Kapisikama agreement, an impact benefit agreement with the Grand Council of the Crees, Cree Nation Government, and Cree Nation of Eastmain for the James Bay Lithium Project in Quebec.

    The agreement allows for economic development of the Cree Nation, including training, employment opportunities, business opportunities, and financial benefits.

    The project will be carried out with full regard to environmental protection and is awaiting Comex's approval of its environmental and social impact assessment.
