Alchemy Resources (ASX:ALY) says its identified spodumene and lepidolite in pegmatites from the Karonie drill program at the Hickory prospect.
Alchemy Resources says the mineralisation was confirmed via chemical assays, Laser Induced Spectroscopy (LIBS), and ultraviolet response.
It also says numerous high tenor targets remain to be tested under cover to the north, and multiple regional lithium targets are untested within the 100% owned Karonie tenure.
Alchemy Resources CEO says the discovery is a fantastic start to exploration of the new lithium province, and that the pegmatite system is open at depth and continues for roughly 3km.
