Adelong Gold (ASX:ADG) has announced its drilling program at the Adelong Gold project in New South Wales is progressing well, with four drill holes completed at Gibraltar, and all showing mineralisation.
Activity has also now begun on exploring for western extensions to the O'Brien workings, and drilling is expected to resume at Caledonian and Sawpit after completion of the program at Gibraltar.
The program involves four RC drillings at Caledonian, two exploring for northern extensions to mineralisation and two to test a poorly explored component of the main vein in the south.
Drilling at Caledonian is expected to start in two to three weeks, with additional site access work required for Sawpit before drilling can commence.
