Senator Elizabeth Warren has gained the support of five additional U.S. senators for her Digital Asset Anti-Money Laundering Act, reintroduced in July.

The bill aims to combat illicit uses of cryptocurrencies for money laundering and terrorism financing.

Senators Raphael Warnock, Laphonza Butler, Chris Van Hollen, John Hickenlooper, and Ben Ray Luján are the latest to endorse the bill.

Warren emphasises the bill's strength in giving regulators more tools to address crypto's illicit use.
