Adavale Resources (ASX:ADD) has announced it's now using two diamond drill rigs at the Kabanga Jirani Nickel Project in Tanzania.

The company said the second holes' drilling follows the intersection of 4.15m of massive nickel sulphide associated with a mafic-ultramafic intrusion in the first drillhole.

It also said the hole is expected to be drilled to around 400m but may be extended.

Adavale Resources' share price is up 17% in afternoon trading.
