92 Energy (ASX:92E) has announced the start of the winter drilling program at its Gemini uranium discovery in Canada’s Athabasca Basin.
The program will consist of 4,000 m of diamond drilling and is aimed at expanding the Gemini uranium discovery, which has already been outlined over a 200 m x 220 m area and is a high-grade, near surface uranium discovery that remains open in all directions.
92 Energy says the program will also test targets along a highly prospective 2.8 km trend identified by the recently completed geophysical program.
The company is hopeful that the new drilling program will uncover additional new discoveries and unlock substantial value.
