Thor Mining (ASX:THR) reports positive vanadium assay results

Thor Mining (ASX:THR) has provided an exploration update on its Wedding Bell and Radium Mountain uranium and vanadium projects in the Uravan Mineral Belt in Colorado, USA.

Thor Mining says assay results validate downhole gamma readings for uranium and confirm broader enriched vanadium mineralisation including 1.5m @ 1660ppm (0.27%) vanadium oxide from 83.8m, and 1.5m @ 1776ppm (0.18%) vanadium oxide from 59.4m.

It also says close-spaced airborne magnetics and radiometric survey will commence over all three projects, once the ground conditions are suitably dry.

Thor Mining also highlighted that drill permitting has commenced for follow up drilling at both Wedding Bell and Radium Mountain.
