Macro Metals (ASX:M4M) returns high grade rock chip samples

Macro Metals (ASX:M4M) has announced high-grade rock chip samples of up to 33% copper at 948g/t gold, as well as zinc, silver, and lead content found from four rock samples taken from its Mogul VMS (Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide) project in Western Australia.

Macro Metals (formerly Kogi Iron) says the results are consistent with high-grade rock chip samples of up to 36% copper and 11% zinc reported by previous operators.

It also says a geophysical contractor has now been engaged to assist in locating extensions to the confirmed mineralisation.

Macro Metals says the occurrence of multiple gossans being mapped along the strike of the regional North-South fault also points to the potential for multiple clusters of mineralisation, as seen at prominent VMS deposits such as Golden Grove.
