Auris Minerals has completed a follow-up air core drilling campaign at its Morck Well Project, 130km north of Meekatharra in the Bryah Basin, Western Australia.

The recent drilling comprised 11 air core drill holes totalling 1,170m, aimed at evaluating the strike extensions of base metal and manganese anomalies observed in previous explorations at the McLean Well prospect.

Significant mineralisation was identified, notably in drill hole MCAC0015, which delivered an impressive maximum result of 35m at 8.9% manganese from 105m, including 4m at 16.1% from 110m.

The location is approximately 800m along the strike to the northeast from the previously identified mineralisation within drill hole MCAC0004.

Auris Managing Director Mike Hendriks commented on the results, "We are pleased to report a maximum result of 35m at 8.9% manganese from 105m, including 4m at 16.1% manganese from 110m."

"Further drilling is recommended at McLean Well to further define mineralisation intersected to date and to extend the mineralised trend further along strike to the northeast," remarked  Hendriks.

The mineralisation at McLean Well remains open to the northeast for approximately 6km.

Cumulative data from previous drilling has revealed base metal and manganese mineralisation over a 1.6km strike, also open along the strike to the northeast for an additional 5km.

Given the outcomes, Auris plans additional drilling to further examine the mineralisation encountered to date and to extend the trend along the strike.

The explorations continue to offer substantial insights into the potential yields of the Morck Well Project.

At the time of reporting, Auris Minerals’ share price was $0.007.
