18 US senators warmly welcome digital currency

The dynamic world of cryptocurrency is now finding a battleground in the United States Senate.

A fresh report from Stand with Crypto, a nonprofit advocate group endorsed by Coinbase, confirms that a minimum of 18 senators are backing the crypto cause.

Leading the pro-crypto group are Republicans Cynthia Lummis and Ted Burr, with the majority of supportive senators belonging to the Republican Party.

Notably, Senator Elizabeth Warren stands out for her strong anti-crypto position, introducing bills and issuing statements against digital currencies. 

However, political views on the subject are yet far from reaching consensus.
