=nil; Foundation has developed a new type-1 zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) compiler to enhance the security of Ethereum scaling solutions.

CEO Misha Komarov emphasised that their zkEVM prioritises security and automates the compilation of high-level programming code into zk-SNARKS circuits.

A recent vulnerability in Matter Labs’ zkSync Era highlighted the potential risks associated with manually defined circuits in ZK-powered Ethereum scaling solutions.

The foundation released its prototype code repository and specifications on December 12, showcasing its commitment to advancing Ethereum's scalability and security.
