Bahamas-based investment fund, GEM Digital, has splashed the cash with a US$150 million investment in the world?s first crypto water token. Now that must be some real high quality H2O.

H2O Water Securities, which is a South African based company, has launched a crypto water token called The Water Network, or H2ON for short.

The company aims to revolutionise how water projects are funded by using blockchain technology.

One of their studies revealed that the world is facing a water crisis within the next eight years with around 30% of the world?s population already living in ?water-scarce conditions?.
