Venture Capital
Venture Capital is an investment designed to help businesses grow. It consists of funding provided to startups and early-stage businesses, usually in exchange for equity or an ownership stake in the company.
One example of venture capital is when a venture capital firm invests in a startup. Usually, the venture capitalist will provide the startup with capital in exchange for a stake in the company and a seat on the board. The venture capitalist will then work with the startup to help them grow and develop, often providing strategic and operational advice.
