Trump Says He Made No Commitment to Xi Over Taiwan

US President Donald Trump said he made no commitment to Chinese leader Xi Jinping over Taiwan, and said he would make a decision soon over a planned $14 billion arms deal with the island. Trump's remarks aboard Air Force One came after Xi issued an unusually blunt warning that the two nations could descend into conflict if the Taiwan issue is mismanaged.
