SRJ Technologies Group (ASX:SRJ) has bolstered its presence in the Middle East after signing a key service level agreement with UAE-based Gecko Middle East Petroleum.
The partnership, facilitated through SRJ’s UAE entity, Air Control Entech Survey, positions the company to deliver class-approved robotic inspection services across the Gulf Cooperation Council region and select African markets.
The opportunities identified through this agreement carry an indicative value of approximately US$4.8 million over an 18-month term.
Beyond the Gecko partnership, SRJ is currently negotiating several additional robotic inspection contracts in the region, including advanced discussions with two major entities for potentially multi-year awards.
CEO Kurt Reeves noted that this momentum builds on recent successes, such as new orders for the company’s BoltEx technology from ExxonMobil and major European gas and aerospace operators.
Reeves emphasised that this technology-led strategy is building a scalable, recurring revenue base for the company.
SRJ reported that while much of its Middle East operations remain functional, certain non-critical work has been suspended due to logistical constraints and travel precautions.
The company confirmed that all personnel in the region are safe and accounted for, with management closely monitoring developments to prioritise the wellbeing of its staff while continuing to support global clients.
