Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) has bolstered its portfolio in the Eastern Goldfields by acquiring 29 prospecting licenses in the Mount Monger region, roughly 40km southeast of Kalgoorlie.
The strategic move adds 43km2 of highly prospective gold tenure, bringing the company's total landholding in the region to 740.5km2.
The new acquisition will be consolidated with the existing Randalls Gold Project to form the Kal East Gold Project.
The site is situated near high-performing operations like Vault Minerals’ Mount Monger and is supported by excellent infrastructure and proximity to multiple processing plants.
The company has already identified several high-priority targets, including Scotch Star and Kims, with historical drilling data showing promising intercepts such as 9m @ 6.25 g/t Au.
With approximately 80% of the tenure already granted, Ore Resources is prepared to launch its exploration strategy immediately.
First-pass drilling is slated to begin in the first half of 2026.
