NH3 Clean Energy (ASX:NH3) has achieved two milestones in the development of its WAH₂ Clean Ammonia Project in Western Australia.
The company confirmed today that it has received multiple front end engineering and design proposals from international engineering leaders.
The submissions, received by the end of February 2026, include firms with specific expertise in "blue" ammonia plants and prior experience in the Pilbara region.
The proposals include options for a Build Own Operate structure for certain project components, offering potential flexibility in the project's execution and financing.
NH3 is currently evaluating these bids and expects to name its chosen engineering partner and outline the subsequent commercial agreement in the coming weeks.
In parallel with the engineering tender, NH3 has commenced a comprehensive flora and vegetation survey across its 40-hectare land allocation within the Maitland Strategic Industrial Area.
It follows a fauna survey completed in September 2025, which returned no findings likely to delay project progress.
Chairman Charles Whitfield noted that these developments demonstrate a lack of slowdown in activity, with work on commercial agreements, financing, and approvals progressing steadily.
The company remains on track to reach a final investment decision by the end of 2026.
At the time of reporting, NH3 Clean Energy's share price was $0.079.
