Silver and base metals explorer Iltani Resources (ASX:ILT) announced exceptional assay results from its final 2025 drilling program at the Orient Silver-Indium Project in Herberton, North Queensland.
The recently completed RC holes, ORR138 to ORR140, targeted the 'Link Zone' between the Orient West and East mineral resources and confirmed the zone's potential to host significant mineralisation.
Hole ORR138 delivered a standout intercept of 10m at 111.7 g/t silver, 44.1 g/t indium, 2.2% lead, and 2.1% zinc from 104m, including 1m grading 437.2 g/t silver, 265.2 g/t indium, 8.1% lead, and 10.4% zinc. ORR139 and ORR140, drilled 80m either side of ORR138, also intersected mineralisation, reinforcing the continuity of the Link Zone over a 900m strike.
Iltani Managing Director Donald Garner highlighted that these results fall outside the current mineral resource estimate and underscore the potential for resource growth.
The company is planning an aggressive 2026 drilling program at Orient, supported by an $8 million investment from the Queensland Investment Corporation, aiming to drill more metres than in 2024 and 2025 combined to expand and upgrade the Orient West and East resources.
