HITIQ (ASX:HIQ) signed an exclusive three-year agreement to become the Official Player Safety Partner of Hockey Australia.
Commencing in 2026, the partnership will see HITIQ's PROTEQT smart mouthguard technology integrated across the entire hockey ecosystem—from grassroots clubs to the world-renowned Hockeyroos and Kookaburras national teams.
The deal represents HITIQ’s first exclusive partnership with an Australian national governing body and targets a primary demographic of approximately 92,000 registered players aged 12 and over.
The agreement is expected to unlock a $20–$25 million multi-year revenue opportunity, driven by hardware sales and repeat purchases as players engage in long-term brain-health monitoring.
By embedding technology-enabled safety frameworks into one of the country's most physically demanding sports, HITIQ aims to create a scalable national model for other federations.
"This agreement enables the deployment of world-class brain-health monitoring across one of Australia's largest participation sports," said HITIQ Executive Chair Earl Eddings.
