Electro Optic Systems has secured two new unconditional orders for its counter-drone technology valued at a combined US$45 million.
The primary contract is a US$42 million order for the Slinger Remote Weapon System from an established customer country in the Middle East.
The order includes the cannon-based Slinger units, cannons, platform integration, spares, and training, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
A secondary US$3 million order was secured by the company's US defense division for integration into a counter-drone weapon system for a large US contractor.
The company stated that current military conflicts in the Middle East may accelerate further opportunities for its high-energy laser and cannon-based products.
Manufacturing for both contracts will take place in Australia and requires customary export approvals from both Australian and United States authorities.
At the time of reporting, Electro Optic Systems' share price was $10.37.
