Domino's Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) has announced two key senior leadership appointments. Merrill Pereyra has been appointed CEO for Australia and New Zealand, effective Jan. 23.
Pereyra brings over 30 years of experience in the quick service restaurant industry, including regional leadership roles at McDonald’s and as CEO of Domino’s Pizza Indonesia.
He also served as Executive Director and Chief Executive, Restaurants, for QSR Brands, the Yum! Brands franchisee for KFC and Pizza Hut, delivering five consecutive years of positive same-store sales for Pizza Hut Malaysia.
Since 2019, he has been Managing Director of Pizza Hut India, leading a turnaround in sales and halving store payback periods.
Executive Chairman Jack Cowin said, "We are delighted to appoint an experienced industry executive of Merrill’s calibre to the key ANZ market. Merrill has a proven track record in building franchise relationships, growing same-store sales, and returning networks to expansion."
In addition, George Saoud, who joined the company as Group CFO on July 1, 2025, has been appointed Group COO, effective immediately.
In his expanded role, Saoud will oversee technology, procurement, and supply chain, while continuing to lead the company's financial strategy and capital management.
At the time of reporting, Domino's Pizza Enterprises' share price was $23.50.
