EasyJet has rejected three separate offers from Castlelake, prompting the investment firm to take its latest proposal that values the budget carrier at about £4.74 billion ($6.3 billion) directly to shareholders. Intesa Sanpaolo offered to buy Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena for 30.6 billion ($35.3 billion). The Milan-based bank will offer 1.6 of its own shares and 1 in cash for each Monte Paschi share. Elon Musk said he's back in Texas working on plans for an initial public offering of SpaceX as the company prepares for the largest listing of all time. Artificial intelligence chipmaker Cerebras raised $5.55 billion in its US initial public offering. The company priced its shares at $185 each, giving Cerebras a market value of about $40 billion, based on the shares offered and outstanding in its filings. Bloomberg's Neil Campling reports.
