Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE:BR) raised its full-year earnings forecast after reporting second-quarter results that swept past analyst estimates, driven by a surge in investor participation and steady growth in its recurring fee businesses.
The Lake Success, New York-based fintech leader reported adjusted earnings of $1.59 per share for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, comfortably beating the $1.36 consensus estimate.
Total revenue rose 8% to $1.71 billion, led by a 9% jump in recurring revenues.
Net income saw a dramatic accounting-driven spike to $2.42 per share, more than doubling from a year ago, primarily due to unrealized gains on digital assets and lower interest expenses.
Broadridge is benefiting from a "digitization" wave in wealth management and a robust proxy season.
To accelerate its push into European markets, the company recently completed the $70 million acquisition of Acolin, a Zurich-based leader in cross-border fund distribution.
The deal connects Broadridge to over 3,000 distributors across 30 countries, a move CEO Tim Gokey says will "modernize the fund lifecycle" for global asset managers.
Citing a strong start to the year, Broadridge raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS growth guidance to a range of 9% to 12%, up from the previous 8% to 12%.
