Samsung Workers to Go Ahead With Strike

Talks between Samsung Electronics and its largest labor union broke down, raising the prospect of a workers' strike. A general work stoppage will go ahead on Thursday, labor leader Choi Seung-ho told reporters. The collapse in negotiations puts the global technology supply chain at risk because Samsung is the world's biggest supplier of the chips that go into devices from data center servers to smartphones and electric vehicles. Latvia to Work on Drone Defense with Ukraine, Says Foreign Minister

Latvia will work with Ukraine and its allies to better handle defense against drones that stray into its territory, Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze said, after two drones crashed last week in the country's east, forcing Defense Minister Andris Spruds to resign late on Sunday.
