Guzman y Gomez (ASX:GYG) reported a 19.5% increase in total network sales for the third quarter of FY26.

Reaching $345.9 million, the results highlight an aggressive growth trajectory fuelled by high demand in the Australian market and strategic operational shifts.

The company opened five new restaurants in Australia during the quarter, bringing its total global footprint to 278 locations.

Central to this quarter’s success was the late February launch of a strategic partnership with Uber Eats, which significantly enhanced delivery performance and guest frequency.

While total network sales growth slowed slightly compared to the prior year’s 23.6%, the Australia segment saw accelerating momentum with $320.4 million in sales.

Transaction growth notably outpaced comparable sales growth, suggesting that GYG’s value proposition is resonating deeply with cost-conscious consumers.

The US segment saw network sales rise to $4 million, driven by two new openings. However, momentum was partially tempered by the decision to cease deliveries via DoorDash in early March.

Meanwhile, the Asia segment—covering Singapore and Japan—contributed a steady $21.5 million.

GYG is preparing for a full-scale rollout of its proprietary order management system following a successful pilot in drive-thru locations.
