Artificial intelligence chipmaker Cerebras raised $5.55 billion in its US initial public offering. The company priced its shares at $185 each, giving Cerebras a market value of about $40 billion, based on the shares offered and outstanding in its filings. Bloomberg's Neil Campling reports.

Anthropic is in early talks with investors to raise at least $30 billion in fresh financing, according to people familiar with the matter. Latvia will work with Ukraine and its allies to better handle defense against drones that stray into its territory, Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze said, after two drones crashed last week in the country's east, forcing Defense Minister Andris Spruds to resign late on Sunday. Braze spoke to BTV's Oliver Crook on Monday ahead of the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.

Polling analyst and Conservative Party peer Robert Hayward says early indications following UK local elections show the results are "as bad as people were predicting for Labour", but London so far appears to be the one exception. Early results suggest a "great night for Reform", according to Hayward. But a full picture of the results might not come into focus until late in the UK day. In an interview on Bloomberg Daybreak Europe, Hayward said it will be a "summer of discontent" for Labour as they argue over whether or not to replace Prime Minister Keir Starmer. He added that he "wouldn't be at all surprised" if this happened over the next few months.

Novo Nordisk said this year's declines won't be as bad as initially expected thanks to the new Wegovy pill, which helped fuel sales in the first quarter. For the year, the worst drop for both profit and sales will be 12%, compared with 13% earlier. Bloomberg's Sanne Wass reports from Copenhagen.

Apple has held exploratory discussions about using Intel and Samsung to produce the main processors for its devices in the US. According to people familiar with the deliberations, Apple had early-stage talks with Intel about enlisting the company's chipmaking services.
