BTT (CRYPTO:BTT) is the native cryptocurrency of the BitTorrent network. BTT can be used to incentivize users to share files and to pay for premium features on the BitTorrent network. BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol that allows users to distribute data and electronic files over the Internet in a decentralized manner. To send or receive files, users use a BitTorrent client on their Internet-connected computer. BitTorrent is operated by TRON Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the development and promotion of blockchain technology.
