What does Æternity do?
Aeternity (CRYPTO:AE) is a decentralized blockchain platform that is designed to be scalable, secure, and efficient. It uses a unique proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Ouroboros Hermes, which is designed to be energy-efficient and resistant to attack. The Aeternity team is currently working on a number of different projects, including the Aeternity blockchain which is the core of the Aeternity ecosystem and it provides the foundation for decentralized applications to be built on. It also has the Aeternity wallet which is a mobile and web wallet that allows users to store, send, and receive AE tokens. Finally, there’s also the Aeternity Name Service (ANS) which is a decentralized domain name system that allows users to create and manage their own domain names. The overall objective of the Aeternity team is to create a more sustainable and secure blockchain ecosystem. They are committed to building a platform that can support a wide range of decentralized applications and that can be used by businesses and individuals alike.
