Across Protocol company info

What does Across Protocol do?

Across Protocol (CRYPTO:ACX) is a cross-chain bridge that allows users to transfer assets between different blockchains, such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon. ACX is the native token of the Across Protocol platform and is used to pay for transaction fees and provide security to the network. Across Protocol uses a unique consensus mechanism called Optimistic Oracle to enable fast and secure cross-chain transfers. The Optimistic Oracle assumes that all transactions are valid and only disputes invalid transactions if they are challenged by a user. Across Protocol is still under development, but it has already processed over $1 billion in cross-chain transfers. The Across team is committed to building a sustainable and scalable cross-chain bridge that will help to drive adoption of Web3.
