Structural Monitoring Systems (ASX:SMN) is pleased to announce an update on their APB Certification Program and compression testing conducted at Boeing's US-based laboratory.
Delta Airlines is supporting the company and this effort is expected to generate significant commercial revenue.
The Compliance Report is expected to be completed before the end of February and an APB installation is scheduled for early March, which will be supervised by Boeing.
Invitations have been extended to the FAA and another major airline operator to observe the installation.
The program is on track for Q2 approval by the FAA and the Service Bulletin Release is expected by 21 April 2023.
Structural Monitoring Systems is engaging with other priority clients for this application and is also finalising a sales program targeting operators of Airbus A320s.
