Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (MoM)
The Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) from Spain, developed by the National Institute of Statistics, tracks inflation and price changes harmonized across EU countries. Covering expenses like personal computers, new cars, and airfares but excluding homeowner costs and council tax, a higher HICP is bullish for the Euro, whereas a lower index indicates bearish trends.
