Current Account - GDP Ratio
The Current Account, a measure of net flow of current transactions by Statistics New Zealand, indicates capital inflow to New Zealand as a percentage of GDP. A surplus suggests greater capital inflow than reduction. Usually considered bullish for the NZD, a high Current Account reading is positive, while a low one is seen as negative or bearish.
