Niu Technologies (NASDAQ:NIU), a leading provider of smart urban mobility solutions, today announced its sales volume results for the fourth quarter and full year 2025.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, the company sold a total of 178,702 units, comprising electric scooters, motorcycles, e-bicycles, and kick-scooters.
Of these, 158,782 units were sold in the China market, while international markets accounted for 19,920 units.
For the full year 2025, Niu Technologies delivered 1,197,978 units worldwide, with 1,112,021 units in China and 85,957 units in international markets.
The company attributed the year-on-year decline in fourth-quarter unit sales to seasonal weakness in the Chinese market, front-loaded consumer demand in anticipation of new national standards for electric bicycles, and a comparatively higher sales base in the prior-year period.
Despite these challenges, Niu highlighted positive traction from the late-September launch of its FX “Windstorm” electric motorcycle, as well as strong demand for standards-compliant electric bicycles.
Looking ahead to 2026, the company expressed optimism about sustained momentum in international electric motorcycle sales and continued optimization of its micromobility strategy.
