Lucid Group (NASDAQ:LCID) reported a massive surge in manufacturing activity for 2025, successfully doubling its annual production as it ramps up deliveries of its new Gravity SUV.
The California-based luxury EV maker announced Monday that it produced 18,378 vehicles for the full year, a 104% increase over 2024, narrowly beating analyst estimates of approximately 17,910 units.
The fourth quarter proved to be the company's most intensive period to date.
Lucid produced 8,412 vehicles in Q4 alone—more than doubling its Q3 output—as the company worked to meet a revised year-end guidance of 18,000 to 20,000 units.
While production soared, deliveries also hit record levels, with 15,841 vehicles reaching customers in 2025, up 55% year-over-year.
The quarterly delivery figure of 5,345 units edged past the Visible Alpha consensus of 5,070, signaling resilient demand despite the broader industry's struggle with the expiration of U.S. federal tax credits.
The results highlight Lucid’s successful transition into a multi-model manufacturer.
The introduction of the more affordable Gravity Touring SUV, starting at $79,900, has helped the brand broaden its appeal beyond the six-figure luxury sedan market.
However, the gap between the 8,412 vehicles produced and 5,345 delivered in Q4 suggests that inventory management and logistics remain a key focus for management heading into the new year.
Lucid will provide a full financial breakdown, including its path toward narrowing heavy operating losses, during its earnings call on February 24, 2026.
