Blockchain investigator ZachXBT flagged an ongoing exploit draining small amounts from hundreds of crypto wallets.
Total losses linked to the activity have exceeded $107,000 and continue to rise.
The exploit targets wallets across multiple Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchains.
Most affected wallets have lost less than $2,000 each, according to onchain analysis.
ZachXBT identified a suspicious address believed to be linked to the draining activity.
It appears hundreds of wallets are currently being drained on various EVM chains for small amounts.
ZachXBT said.
The coordinated pattern suggests deliberate attempts to avoid triggering security alerts.
The root cause of the exploit has not yet been confirmed by investigators.
Some users reported receiving phishing emails impersonating MetaMask and urging a fake upgrade.
There was a spoof MetaMask email sent out today about upgrading.

Others speculated a possible connection to a recent Trust Wallet browser extension incident.
Trust Wallet previously said attackers drained millions from compromised browser extension users.
Investigators have not confirmed any direct link between the incidents so far.
Chainalysis data shows individual wallet compromises made up about 20% of crypto theft losses in 2025.
Attackers are targeting more users but stealing smaller amounts per victim.
