TMK Energy (ASX:TMK) has reported record gas production from its 100% owned Gurvantes XXXV Coal Seam Gas Project in Mongolia, marking the fifth consecutive month of growth.
On Dec. 30, 2025, the project achieved a daily production milestone of approximately 570m2 (~20,100 scfd), while December’s average daily output reached ~526m3, a 13% increase over November’s record of ~466m3 per day.
Water production remained steady at an average of 511 barrels per day.
The company noted that gas production is now more than four times higher than levels recorded in August 2025, with all wells maintaining over 99% uptime.
TMK is progressing with planning and engineering to combine output from the pilot wells to generate power for the site, with potential excess available for sale to the local grid.
CEO Dougal Ferguson said, "This milestone is a strong start to the New Year. The continued increase in gas rates indicates the reservoir is approaching critical desorption pressure. Commercialisation of our coal seam gas resource will be a key focus in 2026, as we aim for materially higher production in the months ahead."
At the time of reporting, TMK Energy's share price was $0.12.
