Elsight (ASX:ELS) has commenced delivery of its first Aura platform units to a leading defence contractor, following the completion of development and testing for the program announced on Sept. 25, 2024.
Designed to support both uncrewed systems and soldier-level communications, Aura expands Elsight’s addressable defence markets and marks the company’s transition from R&D into full production.
The program remains strategically significant, with further phases expected as end-user requirements evolve.
Elsight is strengthening its US presence with the appointment of two senior sales and business development executives, bringing extensive experience in US Department of Defence programs.
The company is also well-positioned to navigate regulatory changes under the NDAA FY26.
Financially, 2025 marked a turning point for Elsight, moving from operating losses to profitability, with record firm orders totaling US$21.2 million scheduled for early 2026, coinciding with the commercial launch of Aura.
CEO Yoav Amitai stated, "Completing the development phase of Aura and moving into delivery is an important execution milestone. We remain focused on executing against the growing opportunities in the U.S. market while aligning closely with regulatory requirements."
At the time of reporting, Elsight's share price was $3.28.
