U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis has been confirmed as a speaker at Bitcoin 2026, set to take place April 27–29 at The Venetian in Las Vegas.
Lummis, who chairs the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Digital Assets, has been a leading voice in shaping US crypto policy, including efforts to establish regulatory frameworks for Bitcoin and stablecoins.
Her flagship proposal, the BITCOIN Act, would authorise the US Treasury to acquire up to one million Bitcoin over five years to build a strategic reserve with a mandated long-term holding period.
The senator has also supported stablecoin regulation through the GENIUS Act and proposed tax exemptions for small Bitcoin transactions, signalling a broader push to integrate digital assets into mainstream finance.
Her appearance comes as she prepares to step down from the Senate in 2026, with several crypto-related bills still progressing through Congress.
Bitcoin 2026 is expected to draw global participants across finance, mining, policy, and technology, positioning the event as a key forum for industry and regulatory discussions.
The conference will feature multiple stages, workshops, and keynote sessions aimed at both new and experienced participants in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $70,687.07.
